Appeal to Emotions with Custom Music in Video

“Graphic design will save the world right after rock and roll does.”

David Carson

As a Visual Communicator, I have been creating videos for about 6 years. It is a never-ending learning curve. As audiences get savvier, VisCom designers will have to increase production value. So, for in-house corporate video production, that means hiring different parts. I have hired animation studios, artists, high-end videographers, and original music producers.

My go-to musician is my husband, Richard Kouyoumjian.

“Music — what a powerful instrument, what a mighty weapon!”

– Maria August von Trapp

I shared an office with my husband in my home office, but he stayed away during WFH to avoid disturbing my work. After months, he joined me in our music and visual communication studio.

At the end of 2020, as I was creating some videos, I asked him to help with sound design and an original score.

As a video producer/editor and motion graphic artist, I have never had a more satisfying experience. I am a fan of Richard’s music, but creating a song for my work was groundbreaking. I decided right then that we would, as a team, offer motion graphics to custom music.

“Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.”

Leonard Bernstein

Music is Power; hire a musician.

Music is powerful, and music for your video cannot be beaten. So, contact me if you want custom music and animation for your next corporate video. Similarly, find a local musician who records songs or jingles. Now, in the information and digital age, custom music is available to all, and best of all, it supports more artisans.

“Music is the universal language of mankind.”

– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Richard scored this one-minute animated motion graphic. I created motion graphics from photos, slide shows, posters, flyers, and videos. The video is a 2020 year-in-review for Reliable.

This is a 30-second commercial with music by Richard Kouyoumjian. A quick animation from the existing demo video was turned into a 30-second spot shown in a fire production industry seminar.
